United We Stream

Since the Coronavirus appeared in our lives, nothing it is as it was just two months ago, and what is even worse, nobody seems to know how long this nightmare will last in which the severe restrictions are hitting the entire music industry in a terrible way. Therefore Berlin Club Culture is facing the biggest challenge in its history but as a reaction to the closing of all Berlin clubs and to the rest of the world being in quarantine, Berlin is showing its support and solidarity by bringing the biggest possible digital club to our homes.

United We Stream, in alliance with ARTE Concert, is hosting a streaming platform of Berlin´s clubs, event organizers and artists and is showcasing the entire range and diversity of this scene on one channel. But in addition to streaming live DJ sets, live music and live performances, United We Stream is also a platform for discussion sessions, presentations and movies addressing various themes relating to the club culture.

Since the 13th of March when all of Berlin's nightlife was officially shut down to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, about 9000 employees, as well as tens of thousands of artists have been without work and wages, and the existence of many of the places that give Berlin its identity is threatened. 

It is time to join forces and be supportive trying to help each other and together save the clubs in Berlin.
