"The Beginning of the End", the I Heart Sharks documentary

After a decade playing at houses, staircases or even at techno parties but also touring as support act for bands like White Lies, Friendly Fires or Zoot Woman, and with three released albums (Summer, Hey Kid, and Hideaway), the Berlin based iconic indie band I Heart Sharks, announced at the end of January 2018 their definitive goodbye with four concerts in Munich, Hamburg, Köln and Berlin in September 2018.

They did so with a public statement and every shark heart surely had a hint of heart attack after reading it. One of the most important independent bands in recent Berlin history, responsible for “Lost Forever”, a song that is an anthem to many, was putting an end to their story.

One year after their last show at Lido, "The Beginning of the End" has been released, a documentary by Laura Böhm and Eileen Sophie Hirsch after having unlimited access to the "Auf Wiedersehen tour in 2018".
