5 times fans crushed it on stage!
I guess like me, many of you are already thinking about the Summer of ‘22. Weird to say this when it is still July but we miss festivals so much that we just can't wait! In the meantime, we’ll have to be satisfied with going back to old memories.
Speaking of which, have you ever been to a festival and wished you’d be picked to go on stage with your favorite band? Well, the guys of the next few videos sure did too and not only made it but also absolutely crushed it on stage! Enjoy watching and start practicing your guitar skills, who knows if one day you’ll be one of them. At the end of the day, Green Day will be touring next Summer!
Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench
This guy named Yayo Sanchez, with his Kiss face and a Motorhead T-shirt at a Foo Fighters concert, could well have been a disaster when he was invited to the stage. And yet his performance was probably one of the best, if not the best of a fan being invited to perform on stage. His performance is so impressive that ends with Dave Grohl himself bowing to him. Worth the watch!
Kendrick Lamar - m.A.A.d city
Unfortunately, there are not many female examples out there. Surely that’ll change soon but in the meantime here’s a killer performance by one of them showing an incredible confidence and attitude in front of the rapper that got himself a Pulitzer. Respect for her and for Kendrick, who even nod to the underestimated power of female artists.
The Killers - For Reasons Unknown
As we may think, and happening often, taking a fan on stage does not always end up going well. There are those who despite not knowing how to play, do not miss the opportunity to go on stage with their idols. This is what happened to the Killers when they invited a spontaneous to play the drums in "For Reasons Unknown". However, Brandon Flowers, far from giving up, invited a second fan who this time did crushed it on stage to the delight of the public.
Green Day - Jesus of Suburbia
introIt has been a classic at Green Day shows already for a long time. Whether you like the band or not, it is indisputable that Green Day concerts are epic and Billie Joe Armstrong has been inviting people to the stage for years. Despite having lost freshness, always having fans who for sure prepared themselves for that before attending the show, it was a must to include a video of them because of the number of people they have probably made happy. This video is just an example of one of them, although there are hundreds of good examples on the internet.
Dave - Thiago Silva
This is undoubtedly the most recent and most legendary performance for the number of millions of views it has and for the stage (Glastonbury). The video gave this young British named Alex reach an ephemeral but notorious fame being even invited to many tv shows. Back then, to everyone's surprise starting with rapper Dave himself, Alex not only knew all the lyrics, but absolutely nailed it on stage too.
