EXIT, probably the only Music Festival happening this Summer!
Someone from the industry said a few days ago that EXIT festival was going to be "the light at the end of the tunnel". Premonitory words that have been confirmed today after the announcement by the festival of more than 30 names in what undoubtedly puts the Serbian festival in the Spotlight.
Founded in 2000 in Novi Sad as a student movement, fighting for democracy and freedom in Serbia and the Balkans, EXIT 2.0 will take place against all odds in 2020 too, and it will be as always at the beautiful Petrovaradin fortress in Novi Sad (Serbia), from August 13th to 16th. And it´s going to happen after the Serbian Prime Minister asked EXIT Festival not to cancel its 20th edition. It will be a very unusual edition but it's pretty much going to be the only big festival about to take place this Summer.
At the moment, the first announcement logically includes many names of the electronic music scene, among which stand out Amelie Lens, Black Coffee, Nina Kraviz, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tale Of Us, Robin Schulz or Ofenbach.
Serbia, like many other European countries, will reopen its borders with no limits or PCR tests needed, so people from all around Europe will be able to come to a festival that will open its doors with a reduced capacity occupying an area of at least 90% of the usual capacity. Festival organisers claims to be working hard to create something special for the 20th birthday edition, whilst also following all health and government guidelines and more artists will be announced in the upcoming weeks!
